It is well-known that education has always been the foundation of the overall development of human beings and the education of women is vital because it accelerates social transformation. It could be understood well by the line of Queen Rania of Jordan which quotes, “If you educate a woman, you educate a family, if you educate a girl, you educate the future.”
Norms related to gender and poverty remain constant barriers to the attendance of girls in Bihar after completion of their studies at secondary schools.
As per the report of ‘The Times of India’, the literacy rate for women in Bihar was 58.7% in rural while it was 75.9% in urban areas in the year 2020.
The main objective of the BNF Foundation for the project ‘Higher Education of Teenage Girls of Bihar’ is to provide scholarships to the girls who want to continue their studies but are forced to drop out after schooling because of financial problems.
This project will be beneficial for the teenage girls who are native of Bihar and are studying in Bihar.
The scholarship will be provided to those who clear all the processes mentioned below:
STEP 1: Registration- Girls who have completed their studies at the school level are eligible to register.
Note- Rs. 99 will be charged for each registration.
STEP 2: Online Examination- Registered participants will be allowed to take an online examination which will be composed of 50 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
STEP 3: Interview- Participants who appeared for the online examination and scored a good rank will have to appear for an interview for the final selection.
Cash prizes* will be given to Top-30 rankers on the basis of their rank after the interview.

12 to 30 : Rs. 10 Thousand to each

Registration will be done online on 11th November 2022.
The examination will be held online on 12th January 2023.
